In 2009 => Reportedly 380 people die due to drunken drivers
In 2010 => Reportedly 421 people die due to drunken drivers
In 2011=> Reportedly 459 people die due to drunken drivers
The numbers justify themselves now what should we do?
Do you think Indian govt must take more strict actions against those people who drink and drive?

I think Indian govt must take some strict actions...
I think you are right but what steps can be taken to avoid such an incident???
According to me our government can
impose heavy fine say 50,000rs fine or an imprisonment of five to seven years for someone who is founded as a guilty of drunken driving
But these tactics are of no help to the victim who are injured due to accident by these fools
I think this problem for the victim's side can be vanished if we give punishment to the drunked person to serve there family for eternity in case of death or to serve until the victim is ready to do his job again in case of injuries
I think this rule can't be implemented due to our slow court processes and so
Hey the govt can make it easier by
associating a group of persons who
deal only with drunk driving cases
in every city and giving them right to take decisions so it would be
fast
but forming one group in each city is going to take years what to do with those who are injured or killed by these drunken fools in meantime?
i think govt is trying there best to stop these activities
I don't think so Amit
yeah it is definitely going to take time but we can form these groups on the
priority basis
like in cities having highest drunk driving accidents can get the group
quickly
Amit we also can do it by setting one group for entire state for quickness and then step down to the cities level...
Good Point
