Dr. Manmohan Singh - The Underachiever



The prime minister of India has been declared as
"THE UNDERACHIEVER"
by the India Times magazine in its latest edition as reported. The magazine has reportedly announced his as the most achieving person by the magazine and giving him 19th position in the top 100 world achievers across the world in its 2008 edition. But the latest edition of this magazine has said that the prim minister is unable to make or take any decisions and also raised 6 major questions on him now during his government run of 8 years.

The questions are as follows :

1. Rise of "more than 15 lakh crores scams" accept the 2G scam.

2. "Growth rate is lowest" in past 9 years as the rate is stuck at 6.5% which does not fulfill his promise of growth rate of 9%.

3. "Rise in petrol prices" in last three years up to 36 rupees.

4. "Failure in reducing Subsidy." The prime minister has failed to reduce the subsidy on goods instead of dropping down its increasing.

5. "Decrease in rupee rate in last year was nearly 25 rupees". The rupee rate has been reduced up to 25 rupees in last year in comparison to USD at international standards.

6. "Rise in Inflation rate". The rate of inflation in India has raised to newer limits it has been reached to double digits in May to 10.74% starting from just 5.17% in 2001.
